William Michael Pender

Bill was born on March 15, 1929 in Toronto, Ontario and passed away peacefully at the age of 89 in Vulcan, Alberta. He considered himself a Farmer, Teacher, Pilot, Boat Captain, Truck Driver, Cook, Poet, Artist, and Musician. He loved cats, bird watching, coaching soccer and was an amateur radio enthusiast. He loved God and his wife Harriet. He always had a joke to tell.

He is survived by brother Paul and sisters; Anne Marie, Nonie and Margaret. Bill was predeceased by his beloved wife Harriet and his parents, William Killoran Prendergast & Nora Benoit Prendergast and his brothers John & Joe.

A Funeral Service will be held at Peace Lutheran Church, ( 4304 – 2 Street West,  Claresholm ) on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at 2:00 PM . A Grave Side Service will be held at Peace Lutheran Cemetery ( five miles east on Hwy 520, Claresholm ) on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at 11:30 AM.
