Stanley William Robert Herrell
December 6, 1937 ~ December 11, 2022
The fishing world lost an avid fisherman on December 11, 2022. The fish will miss him.
He was born in Orillia, Ontario on December 6, 1937 to John and Elsie Herrell, he was the youngest boy of 18 children. He went to school at Foxmead finishing grade 5. Stan stayed on the family farm until he went to Montreal where he apprenticed Plumbing.
In 1967, Stan and his family moved to Alberta where they settled in Kipp, Ab as he worked on a farm nearby. From there he worked in different factories around southern Alberta and ended up at Noble Cultivators, retiring in 1997.
He married the love of his life Agnes in 2005, and they resided on the Keohler farm.
He enjoyed camping, fishing, playing guitar, singing, and tormenting his children.
He is survived by his son Garnet, Daughter Julie (Kevin), Numerous grandchildren, great grand children, nieces and nephews. Stan is also survived by the Koehler family.
He is predeceased by his parents, all brothers and sisters, his son Jeffrey, wife Agnes, grandson Patrick, Son in law Steve, and his best friend Kate (dog).
Stanleyl’s life will be celebrated at Zentner Funeral Homes – 4079 1st Street West, Claresholm, AB. On December 29th, 2022 at 11:00 A.M
