May 18, 1970 – January 4, 2023

Sonya Rosalynn Kocsis (Ramsay) passed away from cancer on January 4th in Claresholm Hospital with her daughter Ashley by her side. She was predeceased by her brother Ronnie.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her parents Ron and Connie. Her sisters Belinda, Nadine (Mac), Gayle, and Leisa (Steve). Her partner Don, Children and stepchildren Ashley, Connor, Tyler, Savanna (Brad), and Brenna; as well as grandchildren Emilia and Parker. Also her aunties, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.

Sonya was a talented gardener and the renowned family green thumb. She loved her community and always gave a helping hand to others. She was a loyal, and caring daughter, a loving partner, and an outstanding mother, grandmother, auntie and friend. We will miss her laugh and beautiful smile. The loss of Sonya has left a hole in the hearts of many, she will be greatly missed.
