It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Ruth Noreen Egger on August 7th, 2021. Beloved wife of George Norman Egger. Besides her loving husband of 62 years, Ruth is survived by her two sons, Danny (Betty) and Scott (Nicole) and son-in-law Arnold Koehler. She had the pleasure of enjoying her seven grandchildren, Jordy (Terri), Brandon (Brittney), Brady (Breanna), Ryden (Arden), Colten (Kateri), Chantel (Kayne) and Adam, six great-grandchildren Kinley, Georgia, Ridge, Jonathan, Linden and Ashton. Ruth is also survived by her siblings Glen, John and Joan.
Ruth was predeceased by her parents Tom and Edna (French) O’Connor and siblings Marian, Jean and Theodore (Bud). Ruth was deeply saddened by the loss of her daughter Kathy Koehler.
Ruth was born in a farmhouse in Fingal, Ontario on October 12th, 1937. In 1954, Ruth trained at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital to become an RN and graduated in 1957. She then moved to Alberta to pursue her career as a nurse. In 1958, she met her loving husband George and they married in 1959. In 1961, Danny was born, in 1964, Kathy and in 1969, Scott.
Ruth loved her family more than anything in life.
A graveside service was held prior where Ruth was laid to rest with her family present.
