It is with heavy hearts that the family of Ronald Harry Tinker announce his peaceful passing in Claresholm Alberta on Friday, February 7th at the age of 88.
Ron was predeased by his wife Betty in 2006. They had been married 49 years.
Ron spent his life working in the forest and construction industry in Robson, Nakusp, Revelstoke, Salmon Arm moving to Alberta later in life and finishing his work time driving long haul fuel tankers in Calgary and then retiring to Claresholm where he spent many years volunteering at the Local Legion. He loved hunting, fishing, camping, and “trucking”.
Ron leaves his children,
Diana (Vic), Robert, and Bonnie (Larry) and His 7 grandchildren,
Lisa, Tanya, Joshua, Daniel, Dustin, Cary, Christopher (deceased) and Krista,
And 4 great grandchildren, Cadence, Delaney, Dreyden and Eleanor.
The family would like to thank the staff at Willow Creek Long Term Care for looking
after Dad and being so kind and attentive in his final months on earth.
