Robert 'Chunk' Eugene Goulet

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Robert (Chunk) in his 44th year, peacefully, surrounded by loved ones in Calgary, Alberta, being diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy three weeks prior.  Son of the late Nancy Goulet and Fernand (PAL) Souliere, and Brother to Janice Johnson (Mike), Jill Andrews, Patrick Andrews (Laura Scholfield), and Shelly (Souliere), Uncle to Jason Fabbricino (Shari ) and the late Ralf Rossi .  Best Buddies and so loved by Jim Coupland (Megan) and their children, Aaron Evans (Jaime) and their children, Tricia Lebel, and Robert Coupland.

Robert was a wonderful, funny, sensitive human being, who cared greatly for his family and friends.  He was well known in the community for his love of sports.  He was active for many years at the Highschool football games managing the clock and was a referee for women’s High School volleyball.  Robert was a fixture at the YMCA where he met many friends.  In his teen years, Robert attended Bawating High School, where he was on the football team, as this was his passion.  For enjoyment, you would find Robert at the nearest Karaoke Bar, holding the mike, and belting out his favourite tunes.  For the past 13 years, he spent mostly in Lethbridge, Alberta with Jim and his family, who simply adored him.  Gone too soon but will always be close in our hearts.
