Patricia Maude (Jevne) Chattaway

Patricia was born in Wetaskiwin Hospital on November 25th, 1947. She was raised on the family farm near Rimbey, Alberta. Her early years of school were in the country, moving to Rimbey in Grade 6. After graduating from Rimbey, she attended Olds College.  

In 1968, Patricia married Clay Chattaway and moved to the Bar S Ranch, where together they raised their three sons: Scott, Christian, and Morgan. Pat dedicated her life to her family and community as a homemaker, an exceptional cook and baker, a skilled seamstress, and a business owner. Her passions included sewing, skiing, golfing, and most of all, spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents, Tustan and Alice Jevne. Patricia is lovingly remembered by her children and their spouses: Scott (Lee), Christian (Leanne), and Morgan (Katherine); her siblings: Gloria (Fred), Carl (Gloria), Judy, and Tustan (Rhonda); her grandchildren: Jessica (Turner), Wyatt (Stephanie), Quinn (Kalyn), Tate (Tegan), Jackson, Xander, Emmett, Ella, and Hannah; and her great-grandchildren: Watson, Kross, and Brooks.

Pat also cherished travel and time spent with her golfing friends. She will be remembered for her many artistic talents, especially her ability to design and sew beautiful creations for her children, nieces, and nephews

A Celebration of Life will be held at MD Ranchland Building, September 13, 2025 at 1:00pm.
