Margaret Isabel (Warne) Kuhl

Margaret passed away at the age of 91 on February 17, 2019 after a short stay at the Willow Creek Continuing Care Centre in Claresholm, Alberta. Margaret was born in Shepard, Alberta. She is survived by her 6 children and their spouses: Linda (Max) Woslyng, Jim (Sharie) Kuhl, Laura Kuhl, Betty (Mike) Hoare, Evelyn (Eugene) Dieterle and Bill (Brenda) Kuhl. She is also survived by 17 Grandchildren, 17 Great-Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great-Grandchild. Margaret was predeceased by her husband Amos, her mother and father Ida and Jim Warne, and her brothers Barclay and Stuart. 

Margaret worked at home as a loving mother, first to her children and as the family grew as a caring Nana. She worked outside the home for a short while at the local grocery store.  Her passion was knitting. All the grandkids were given handmade afghans by Nana. She loved gardening and her lilies beside the garage were a sight to see. She found a new family when she moved to the Porcupine Hills Lodge after Dad’s passing. 

A Celebration of Margaret’s Life will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at Willow Creek Funeral Home (4079 – 1st Street West, Claresholm, AB).
