Louise Christine Lovell (McCracken) was born in Edmonton, Alberta on
September 16, 1945 to Dr. James and Norma McCracken. They lived in
Edmonton, and Luscar then moved to Oyen Alberta in 1954 where she
grew up in town and on the farm with her younger brother Jim and
younger siblings Andy and Norma.
She loved all animals especially horses, all sports including skating,
working on the farm, flowers, sewing, crocheting, and cooking. She
graduated from SCHS in Oyen, Alberta. She was married and started
her family Oyen, and later moved to Lethbridge, Edmonton, and
Calgary.
She was a very kind and caring person who loved helping and taking
care of people from her younger siblings early in life, to her family, and
people in the communities she lived.
She resided in Claresholm and was the proud mother to Wade Lovell
and Tina (Scott) Lambert and grandma to four grandchildren Louis and
Toni Lovell, and Taryn and Kyra Lambert. She dearly loved her family.
Louise’s family would like to thank the community of Claresholm,
specifically Dr Leishman, the caring staff at the Porcupine Hills Lodge,
Willow Creek Continuing Care Centre, and the Claresholm General
Hospital for all their kindness over many years.
At Louise’s request, no formal funeral service will be held.
Cremation entrusted to Zentner Funeral Homes.
