Linda Lucille Sherman

May 23, 1951 – May 29, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Linda Sherman announce her passing on May 29, 2024 at the age of 73 years.

Linda was born in and completed her schooling in Lethbridge, AB. Linda married Ken Sherman on July 12, 1969, in Blairmore, AB, and together they welcomed three beautiful children. In 1987, they moved to Claresholm, AB. She worked many different jobs around town, including assistant manager at 7-11, head cashier at IGA, and a cook at Porcupine Lodge. After her retirement, she still enjoyed volunteering at the Porcupine Lodge and spending time with the residents. Linda enjoyed travelling, taking many trips over the years, and lunches with her lunch group. Linda was so proud of her children, grandchildren and eventually great-grandchildren.

Linda will be fondly remembered by her loving partner Dwayne,  children, Shane (Sue) Sherman, and their children, Ashley (Brett) great grand daughter Lennon,  Aimee (Steven) great grandson Jax and great grand daughter Nevayah, and Riley; Shannon (Dave) Thompson, and their daughter Kerra (Dean), daughter Audrey(Jayden) great grandson Wesley, and Lisa (Tim) Martin, and their daughters, Emma (Keegan), and Kloe (Colin); and many nieces and nephews.

Linda is also survived by her siblings, Sharon Visosky, Marilyn (Mike) Fisher), Judy (Rob) Sadleir), Debbie (Les) Tremblay, Lori (Scott) McCarl, and Marvin (Lorna) Styner; and sisters-in-law, Isabelle and Maryanne Styner.

Linda was predeceased by her parents, Harold and Norma Styner; brothers, Bill and Jim Styner; and brothers-in-law, Ed Visosky, and Roger Fisher.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at the Claresholm Social Center located at 5009 2 Street East, Claresholm, AB at 4:00 P.M.
