James "Jim" Lewis Lockhart

James ‘Jim” Lockhart Jim was born in Midale Saskatchewan on July 5/1949.   He and his sister Linda were raised by his maternal grandparents Jim and Vera Doyle. He met Diane when they were psychiatric nursing students in Weyburn and were married July 31/1971.  They moved to Claresholm in 1974 where Jim enjoyed his career at the Care Centre until his retirement.  He was a kind caregiver and made many lifelong friends.   Jim enjoyed golfing, curling, hunting, going for drives in the hills, traveling , spending winters in the South and time with family and grandchildren. He leaves to mourn his wife Diane,  daughter Danielle and her 2 sons Joel {Katie} and Karsen Slettede, his son Michael {Vicky} their son Read and daughter Mya, and numerous cousins.
