It is with a heavy heart of the passing of Frank Reimar Geyer on July 29, 2025 at the age of 78. at Claresholm General Hospital. Frank is lovingly remembered by his loving wife Shirley, His sons Matthew, & Kathryn, of Calgary, Mark of Claresholm, Step son Paul & Shorlet of Grand Camen Island. He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren Djenaba, Emma, Abby, Stella, & Aden who brightened up his life when they visited. Frank was born in Hamburg Germany Aug. 3 1946 and Came to Canada in 1952 at the age of 6. Frank married his loving wife Shirley on April 10/1982 they were married for 43 years. They lived in Kimberley BC for 21 years, then Frankford Ontario for 11 years and then moved to Claresholm Dec. 2021 Frank preceded his parents Gunther Geyer 1994 & Margot Geyer 1991 who passed in Kimberley BC Frank had a quiet strength of being the eldest of six siblings he has 3 sisters, Gene Homes, Chequita Van, Carmen Kimmel & twin brothers Bill & Dean From a young age he took on responsibility with a calm & steady presence, helping to guide & support his family with a gentile hand. He was a soft-hearten matured man – humble, reserved, & deeply grounded. Though he spoke little, his actions spoke volumes, & when you took the time to know him found a man of quiet humor, unwavering reliability & quiet resilience. Frank was a hard worker. He spent most of his life working in construction, as a carpenter & also marina maintenance & boat repair he starting working with his father at a young age. Frank was very talented in other adventures through his life. Also working in a Jade mining operation, & with his family owned restaurant. His hobbies in his younger years Frank love to paint, wood carvings, & helping his family always had a nice home to live in. He loved learning about History & Geography, always kept up with world events. He was taught at a young age to always know what is happening in the world. Frank loved antique cars, mostly British cars Triumph (TR6) drove MG cars & loved going to car shows, & loved anything to do with cars made him happy.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Faith Baptist Church 4404 3rd Street West Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at 2:00 P.M.
