Eva Elizabeth (Gaab) Ford

Eva Ford passed away peacefully on Friday, February 23, 2018 at the Willow Creek Continuing Care Centre. She is survived by her son Grant (wife Vicky) Slawson, daughter Sharon (husband Dan) Hardy, son Dale (wife Jayne) Slawson and daughter-in-law Darlene Williams; 11 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Eva was predeceased by husbands Daniel Slawson (1979) and Elbie Ford (1993). She was also predeceased by two children, her daughter Heather Nicholson (2013) and son Garry Slawson (2015).

Eva was born in Weyburn, Saskatchewan on the family farm. She had an adventurous life and moved many times, eventually settling in Claresholm in 2005 to be closer to her brother Rudy Gaab. Eva was an avid card player and liked to spend time with family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at the Claresholm Pentecostal Assembly (4716-2nd Street West, Claresholm) with Pastor Bev Larabie officiating.
