Ellen Stright passed away on November 10, 2020, at the age of 88 years at the Willow Creek Continuing Care Centre.
Ellen is the beloved wife of late husband Ronald Cecil Stright, and loving mother of Brenda Scattergood of Claresholm, Alberta and Debra (Ken) Loeffler of Claresholm, Alberta, and Alden Stright of Nanton, Alberta.
Ellen is also survived by seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her parents, her son Brian Ronald in 1954, two brothers and three sisters.
Born in Millet, Alberta on April 22, 1932, Ellen married Ronald Stright on November 7, 1951. They resided in Camrose, Calgary, Brant, Vulcan, Stavely and Nanton. She was a custodial technician for the County of Vulcan School Division, Vulcan Royal Canadian Legion, and the Claresholm Care Centre, retiring in 1994.
Ellen's passions were her flower gardens, her greatest passions were horses, cats and dogs.
A Private Family graveside service will be held at the Nanton Cemetery
