It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of a great man. 

Don is survived by his loving wife, Linda, of 49 years. He was an incredible Dad to his daughter, Carol (Scott) Thompson, and a proud Poppa to his 2 grandchildren, Kase and Anna. 

His dog Shadow will also miss him immensely. 

Don was an active member of the community. He was an artist, a solver of problems, and a man who would help anyone who asked. 

Don’s ashes will be spread in a private ceremony in his favourite place with his favourite songs and his favourite people: his immediate family. 

In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Canadian Merit Scholarship Foundation in support of the LORAN Award on his behalf.
