Devon Bradley Vadnais
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Devon Bradley Vadnais.
Devon passed away January 8, 2026 at the age of 53, at Foothills Hospital in Calgary after a long fought battle with cancer.
Devon grew up on the family ranch west of Claresholm on Meadow Creek Road. He resided on the farm until he went into the hospital.
He graduated from the Willow Creek Composite High School class of 1992. Devon did many different types of work, the two he was most passionate about were digging wells to help out local farmers, and guiding for hunting trips. Devon was a devout Christian and an active member of the Lutheran Church. He was also an active member in AA groups sharing his struggles and hearing other people’s struggles and supporting each other.
Devon is survived by his two sons Joel and Keiran. His father Dale Vadnais; sister Renee (Trevor) Turner; nephew Avery (Courtney) Turner; niece Shelby Turner; great nephew, and niece Levi and Macy Turner.
Devon is predeceased by his mother Eileen and sister Anita.
Devon had lots of lifelong friends Including Allen Lane, Cory Deboer, Damian Fell, Mike Martineau and Corey Wilton who was his best friend up until his passing.
Funeral Service will be held Thursday, January 15, 2026 at Peace Lutheran Church at 11:00 a.m. for all friends and family to come mourn this loss and celebrate Devon's life.
