Dennis "Denny" Jordan

Dennis (Denny) Aaron Jordan passed away peacefully July 31, 2025, in Claresholm Alberta.  

He was born on October 24, 1931, in Water Valley Alberta to Joseph (Joe) Jordan and Ferel Brown, where he lived in a log cabin with his 9 siblings (Berta, Letha, Bill, Bob, Joe, Inez, Cliff, Ken and Edith).   He attended school in Water Valley and later worked for ATCO in Calgary. He spent most of his retirement years in Nanton.  He played shuffleboard (Alberta Champion), cribbage (Alberta Champion), curling (Alberta Champion) and golf (Canadian Champion) competitively and coached hockey and baseball.  

He was predeceased by his wife Doreen Postill Jordan (married Oct 1951-July 1986) and is survived by their 3 children. He will be fondly remembered by his wife Patricia (Trish) Jordan (married 2010-present), her family and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints – 905 9th street SW – High River, AB , Saturday, August 9, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. Reception with light refreshments to follow.
