Denis Paul Douville

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Denis Paul Douville, after a courageous battle with cancer; on December 16, 2021, at the age of 63, in Claresholm, Alberta.

Denis was born December 18, 1957, in Vulcan, Alberta. He married Paula on April 16, 1983.

Besides his loving, brave wife Paula, Denis is survived by his children. Daughter Kimberly (Brad) Mattie, Sadie, Brady. Son Garrett (Kayla) Aubree and Trace. Brothers Gerald (Sandy) and Gille. Nieces and Nephews, Jayden, Taryn, Matthieu & Nicholas.

Denis was predeceased in death by his mother and father, Pierrette and Ernest Douville, his sister Daura Douville and his brother, Roger Douville.

Paula and Denis retired to Stavely, Alberta June 2021.

In his retirement, Denis loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He loved watching rodeo, hockey and spending time on the acreage. Denis loved roping, riding, ranching and moving cattle. Fishing, hunting and hockey were also favourite past times. Denis cherished his family and friends more than anything.

A celebration of life will be held at the Stavely Community Hall at

5101 - 52 Street Stavely, Alberta on Friday, January 7, 2022. 2:00pm.
