Darrell Allan Hillis

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Darrell Hillis of Claresholm at 63 years of age. Darrell is survived by his loving wife Sandy, daughter Wendy (Todd), son John (Julie) and two granddaughters Rosemary and Isabel, his step-mother Shirley, brothers Stewart (Anita) and Tom (Tamra).  Predeceased by his parents Glen and Mary, grandparents, uncles and aunts, Darrell now walks with them in peace.He was a big man with a bigger heart. He had an incredible sense of humor and loved to laugh. To know Darrell was to love him and be loved in return.

A Celebration of Darrell's Life will be held at Willow Creek Funeral Home (4079-1st Street West, Claresholm) on Saturday, December 8th, 2018 at 1:00 PM with a reception to follow at Casa Roma Restaurant (5324-1st Street East, Claresholm). 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Darrell to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada (#590, 1212- 31 Avenue NE, Calgary, AB T2E 7S8) or the Canadian Liver Foundation (1010- 1 Ave NE, Calgary, AB T2E 7W7).
