Catherine Ann (Graham) Cochlan

We are saddened to announce the passing of Catherine “Cassie” Ann Cochlan on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at the age of 83. She was born September 24, 1940 in Vulcan, Alberta to Caroline and Russell Graham. She was the second of their 6 children and their first daughter. She was predeceased by her brother Douglas Graham and leaves behind her siblings, John, Jim, Louise, and Sylvia. After graduating from Radiology in Calgary, Alberta in 1963, she worked in Creston, British Columbia and Swift Current, Saskatchewan. She also managed to explore some of this world, travelling to Holland, France and Italy. She eventually found herself in Claresholm, Alberta where with some matchmaking of a mutual friend a fateful blind date resulted in her meeting her future husband Guy Cochlan. They settled west of Stavely where they raised their two children Stephen and Patricia.

A Celebration of life will be held at St. Aldhelm’s Anglican Church 302 Centre Street Vulcan, Alberta October 21, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. Donations In lieu of flowers, please donate to - The Vulcan Extendicare Auxiliary Association or -The Vulcan County Health & Wellness Foundation.
