Callum Leeds Obituary

Callum Avery Leeds passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on September 12, 2021, at the Alberta Children's Hospital.

Callum was born in Lethbridge, Alberta on September 7, 2014, he was a bright light that filled our family with hope, gave us strength and kept us grounded at a time when our world was falling apart. His sparkling eyes and beautiful smile continued to warm hearts and shine through with all he did. He was the biggest tease and it gave him great joy to make people laugh. Always wanting to be in the know and in the centre of the action, Callum loved adventure, sports and gaming, especially when they included his favourite people. Some of his favourites were camping, dirt biking, skiing, hockey, soccer and tubing down Willow Creek.

Callum has always been passionate about the farm and all the animals. He loved looking at tractor listings and bull auction catalogues. He had a keen eye for detail and not much got past him, always observing the world around him. He knew which calf was a fence crawler, which cows not to mess with and always had a plan of what his daddy needed to do next. Although he loved the cows and our family pets, Callum dreamed of having an animal to call his own. His dream came true this summer when he brought home his own little bunny, Hopr. Callum was instantly in love and so proud.

Callum, our world is never going to be the same without you in our arms. Sarah, Ashton, dad and I as well as all of our family want you to know how much you are loved and we cherish the memories of our time together and the lessons you taught us along the way. Your bright light touched many lives and it will continue to shine brightly from up above. Hopr is in good hands, we will be comforted and think of you every time we see a bunny.

You will forever be our sweet little munchkin.
