Bernice Elisabeth (Petek) Postman

Bernice Elisabeth Postman of Granum passed away peacefully Tuesday, October 28 2025 at the age of 62 years.

Bernice is survived by her husband of 34 years, James Postman, her children: Merissa Petek (Dom), Mykaila Postman, her grandchildren: Nate, Leo, Myla and Ariel, her siblings: Steven Petek (Rose), Jeannet Rittenhouse, Katrina Harty (Dallas) as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Frank Petek (2003) and Yutta Petek (2013).

Anyone who knew Bernice will remember her for her warm heart, generous spirit, and wonderful sense of humor. “Gramma” as she was lovingly called, found joy in the simple things – especially camping, spending time outdoors and visiting her daughters on the West Coast.

Her laughter, kindness and love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Granum Christian Reformed Church on Saturday, November 15 at 2:00PM.
