Alice Jean (Garriott) Olson

Jean Olson, age 88, died peacefully on Friday, September 7, 2018 at the Willow Creek Continuing Care Centre while being comforted by daughter Helen Luther and grand-daughter Dalanie Scott. She will also be greatly missed by daughter Rev. Dorothy Hewlett, St Catharines, Ontario; son Doug Olson; grandchildren: Natasha Luther (Paul), Quint and Nick Hewlett, Donald Olson, Kelly and Kelsey Kerr. Jean was the proud great-grandmother of Dalton Magistad, Dallas Russell, Keegan and Armani Scott, Braxton Kerr, and Cole, Liam and Mia Hewlett. She is also survived by her sister Marjorie and brothers Elmer and Marvin Garriott.   Jean was predeceased by husband Bob, son Jim, and her brother Bob Garriott.   Jean's family is grateful for the wonderful care from Dr. Low and the staff at the North Unit of the Willow Creek Continuing Care Centre.  

A Memorial Service for Jean will be held at the Stavely Community Hall on Friday, September 21, 2018 at 1:00 PM.
